We believe that protecting our environment and supporting local communities is essential to preserving the Zermatt Alpine experience for future generations. That's why we have committed to various initiatives that inspire both us and our guests to act consciously. Here are some of the key projects we’re proud to be part of:

Wasser für Wasser – Together for water and the love of life!

Through our partnership with Wasser für Wasser (WfW), we actively support projects that improve access to clean drinking water worldwide. Guests can enjoy locally sourced Zermatt spring water in reusable bottles, reducing plastic waste. With every bottle sold, guests contribute directly to water, hygiene, and education projects in Mozambique, Zambia, and Switzerland.

Kitro

KITRO – Smart Technology Against Food Waste

With KITRO, we use intelligent systems to monitor and analyze food waste in our kitchens. This data helps us reduce waste by adjusting our menu offerings accordingly, making better use of resources.

Regional Products – Fresh and Local
Our commitment to sustainability extends to our culinary offerings, focusing on regional and seasonal ingredients. This supports local farmers, reduces transportation emissions, and guarantees fresh, high-quality products for our guests.

Sustainability isn’t just a goal; it’s a daily commitment. From reducing food waste to supporting local suppliers, we continuously work to protect the environment and preserve the natural beauty of the Alps for future generations. Together, with the support of our guests, we strive for a greener, more sustainable future.
